The Book So Far

Right now Nick is with the cops trying to find his wife, Amy. Amy appears to be missing and Nick has no idea where she could be. She left the iron on which is very unusual because she never leaves a project unfinished, and the coffee table was shattered. Nick called her parents in a panic, however, they live in New York so there is not much they can do from there. As the police were investigating the house, they got distracted by their wedding picture, which is what I do not like about the book so far. The cops come across as if they are not that worried about finding Amy.

Major Conflict

At this point in the book, Gone Girl, there are many little conflict, but there is one major conflict. the major conflict right now is Nick's wife, Amy, is missing. He came home one day and saw the iron was on and the coffee table was shattered. When he saw that the iron was on, he knew something was wrong because Amy was not the kind of person to quit in the middle of the project. Nick called the cops and they are starting to investigate the situation, but the cops seem more interested in their wedding picture than trying to find Amy.
